When Derek started Ditto in 2003, it was little more than a humble print shop, offering short run printing and design for local people. With an impressive design career under his belt (he doesn’t like to boast, but he’s got over 30 years experience in the creative industry, working with the likes of Chanel, Royal Opera House, Sun Alliance, American Express, Crest Homes and the Cystic Fibrosis Trust to name a few – as well as a couple of celebrity clients!), Derek set about transforming Ditto into something quite special. Armed with a new team, passionate about creating exceptional design, Ditto quickly became known as the place to go in Sevenoaks for well-priced, business-savvy design and print.

We launched our successful printing.com franchise in 2007, giving us unprecedented access to over £15 million worth of print equipment, meaning we’re able to back up our creative work with best-in-class, environmentally friendly print. Since then, we’ve grown 25% year on year. Yes, we’ve faced our obstacles (name a business which hasn’t!), but we’re incredibly proud of how far we’ve come. We continue to work with small businesses and start ups, helping them to create powerful and engaging brand identities which propel them towards success, and pour every drop of experience, creativity and flair into everything we do. A big part of our success is the ability to compliment our creative services with business know-how; great design is about more than making something pretty – it has to work on a practical level too. We’re dedicated to offering the very best service we can, which is why we’ve recently partnered with Zoodikers PR Agency to expand the range of services available to the businesses we work with. Our team of three (father and daughter team Derek and Hannah, and Hannah’s fiancé Dan) thrive on new challenges, and are passionate about building strong relationships with our customers to help their businesses to grow.

Our Sevenoaks based high street studio has become a hub for small businesses; a place where you’re encouraged to think big and given the support to make your vision a reality. And the future?
