Proud to present: Brand styling for Prospect Financial
I'm so excited to present another branding project to you! In stark contrast to the femininity of Sophie's identity for Illuminate Skin Clinics, this is a more masculine brand for Mark at Prospect Financial.
Prospect provides expert and trusted advice regarding mortgages and private finance. An established business with a good reputation and excellent track record, Mark came to Ditto for a fresh brand identity to reflect where his business is as right now - and where he plans to take it over the next few years. We took the decision to drop the 'financial' from his logo, and instead use a strap line: 'tailored property finance'. This feels so much more confident, and helps Mark to really focus in on his specialism in providing mortgages.
The season personality
We’ve identified Prospect as a Winter personality. Efficiency, quality and trust are very important to Winter personalities – they’re grounded, focussed and get the job done with minimal fuss. This describes Prospect to a t!
A clean, minimal palette of blue and black provide a confident base. Blue communicate trust and efficiency while the black creates an impression of timelessness and quality. The addition of gold creates a luxe edge, which should be used sparingly (we're currently working on designing gold foiled business cards for Prospect, which will look incredible!).
The brand board
This brand board feels very tough, bold and confident, doesn't it? It's solid, trustworthy and premium - absolutely what we set out to achieve for Prospects' brand. I love the monogram that Dan created - it works brilliantly as part of the main logo, but is strong enough to work on its own, too. It'll look amazing in gold on Mark's business cards, and create exactly the first impression that he wants to give to his clients. In fact, when I presented these designs to Mark, I couldn't help but think how perfectly they fit with him - Mark is confident, decisive and very focussed. I can't wait to see the impact that the new identity has on his business! Watch this space...
