New in this week... LOADS of new projects
As I dashed out the door yesterday to make a quick stop at home before rushing off to an evening appointment I realised I'd only eaten an apple all day and had sailed right through lunch without a moment to stop - and I think that pretty much sums up how busy we are here at the moment, it's been insane. We've got tonnes of projects going on at the moment. While I can't reveal all of them, yet I'd love to share with you what I can. Last week I met financial guru David Braithwaite from Citrus in Hildenborough, to discuss the new design for their window graphics which we're starting work on this week. I'll be blogging the development of this project shortly, but here are the graphics as they stand (and me doing my very best air-hostess imitation):
On Monday of this week (which feels like years ago) I met Marianne Spiteri who's preparing to open a new beauty salon in Otford. The ethos of the salon is very much centred around organic products and pampering treatments for the body and soul. It's a big move for Marianne to have her own salon with her name above the door and I'm really pleased she chose us to help her create the branding with which to launch her business. We're currently working on her logo concepts and will be building her website as well as working on all of her price lists, gift vouchers and everything else that she'll need to throw her doors open with confidence. We've been getting stuck in to colour concepts this afternoon, thus the current state of my desk:
Aside from all of the buzz going on with these two projects, we have a further two websites to sign off this week and a number of other jobs on the go (leaflets for a local shoe shop, loyalty cards for a restaurant and booklets for a personal trainer to name a few). I've also got to get my first article for the Kent Courier newspaper completed, which is presently in the form of umpteen post-it notes and scribbled comments on a jotter pad. No rest for the wicked...
