Proud to Present: A completely delicious new website for The Dining Room PR
Hannah Blake at The Dining Room has been a dream to work with. She approached Ditto as she was preparing to launch her business, dead-set on getting the right look from day one and wanting to create a beautiful shop window for her business. She threw herself wholeheartedly into the branding process, and it was a joy to see Hannah's clear style aesthetic meet our vision for her brand and play out in such a seamless way. Much like us, Hannah does everything with hustle and heart - no wonder it was a match made in heaven...
The Dining Room is a PR agency for food, restaurants, cookery books and lifestyle brands. Hannah's client list features our girl Francesca Booth at Dandylion as well as the beautiful Beacon in Rusthall and Cabrito Goats. Think of a menu with the most delicious dishes you'll ever experience, served at an incredible, individual and stylish restaurant and you've pretty much got her clients licked.
After much work behind the scenes to tweak, perfect, tweak again and make sure everything is just so, we launched the new website for The Dining Room PR yesterday. And oh my, is it a beaut.
Using Squarespace, we've built a beautiful website with an impressive parallax scrolling home page. And one of the things that makes this website a joy to visit is the stunning photography. I frequently bang on about the importance of pulling together a cohesive selection of brand photos, and this website is case in point. The images are actually a combination of those supplied by Hannah's clients, and a handful selected from my favourite stock photography site, unsplash. But you'd never know, would you?
The Dining Room PR website is gutsy, bold and confident. I'm so pleased with the typography (so frequently overlooked in website design!) and the way that the illustrations we created play within the overall page layout. They add a gorgeous extra element to the overall design and hint at the love and care with which Hannah works.
