Big Alp is a brand new production company, and represents the next phase of Michael Wood's very busy and successful career as a TV creative. Having worked on some of the most successful TV programmes worldwide, he's known for being creative, unflappable and quite simply at the top of his game. Michael came to Ditto for a brand identity that would help him portray an image that reflects his creative style, and would capture the attention of broadcasters and commissioners alike.
Big Alp aspires to bring the best stories and strongest characters together for brilliantly entertaining and highly rated viewing. Driven by creativity, curiosity and innovation along with rich storytelling and high end visuals, the shows produced by Big Alp are energetic, fast paced and full of life.
The style of Big Alps brand combines rich, artfully shot imagery with crisp, clear and bold designs. From the expressive hand lettered scripts to the minimal san serif typography, there’s a sense of confidence to this brand – but also an undeniable sense of fun. It’s lively and energetic yet not naive – the shapes are considered, unfussy and clean.
With brave, bold colours and hugely expressive typography, we had a ball working on this brand. It’s full of life, creatively charged and incredibly confident – just like Mr Wood himself.
