Workshop review: Clarity & Confidence, May 2017
Wow. What a day! I spent Tuesday morning with six wonderful business owners who were my guests on our Clarity + Confidence brand workshop.
At Ditto, our branding process begins with gaining clarity on who our clients are: getting up close and personal with their brand values, their customers and helping them explore their niche. This is probably one of the most valuable elements of the branding process as most of us simply don't stop to think about who we are, or why we're different from our competitors, or how to find our best customers. We spent the first part of the session getting good and focussed on our overall brand message. and it was lovely to see that the small group environment meant that everyone felt comfortable enough to share their stories, their challenges and gain insight from each other.
After a much needed tea break (fuelled by plenty of amaaaazing cake from Eat N Mess), we looked at brand personality, and the opportunities we have to influence the perception we want to create around our brand. We explored the different ways of creating a truly special, memorable and rave-worthy experience around what we do, which I loved.
The final part of the session was spent looking at design: the elements that you need within your toolkit to communicate in a beautiful, consistent way - and how to employ colour and design in a strategic way to influence perception.
